If you already own a coffee machine and would like to have it serviced, contact us at Coffee 1652 and arrange to have it serviced by qualified and certified engineers. Your machine requires a yearly "Pressure Systems Safety Regulations" (PSSR) boiler certification. This can only be carried out by certified engineers and by legally compliant. Our PSSR Boiler Certification includes the following

Completely shut the coffee machine down
Strip down the coffee machine by one of our qualified service engineers
We then drain the boiler and remove heating element
The engineer will then start to examine the pressure boiler
Once the engineer has finished the inspection, they will reassemble the coffee machine and refit the heating element with a new gasket. The Machine will then be tested to full pressure (1.7-.1.9 Bar) to check the safety valve functions correctly and opens at the designated pressure (usually 1.8 Bar). After the works have been completed, the engineer will submit the findings to our support team who in conjunction with ‘CoffeeSafe’ will then issue a PSSR Test Certificate for the coffee machine to indicate it has passed and is legally compliant. If the machine fails inspection for any reason and cannot be repaired within the allotted testing period, then a second inspection will be necessary. Your machine cannot be used until it has been passed and a certificate issued.

Coffee 1652 was born from a passion of creating great coffee.

The name Coffee 1652 comes from the formation of the oldest coffee shop in the UK, located in St Michael’s Alley, Cornhill in London by an eccentric Greek named Pasqua Roseé. Sadly, Pasqua no longer works for Coffee 1652 (we had to let him go as he hadn’t turned in for work in over 350 years!) but his legacy lives on through our attention to detail in all we do.

We have now grown into our own purpose built facility, which houses our new training room, showroom, workshop and café area. These days, we pride ourselves on providing some of the finest coffees from our extensive range.
