🚕 WE’RE HIRING! – PASSENGER ASSISTANT🚕

School Transport | Starting September | Term-Time Only

JM Cars is looking for a caring, reliable and responsible Passenger Assistant to join our team supporting our school transport contracts.

This is a rewarding role where you'll help ensure children and young passengers have a safe, comfortable and positive journey to and from school.

📍 St Ives • Hayle • Penzance & surrounding areas
📅 Starting September
🎒 Term-time only
⏰ Morning & afternoon school journeys

👋 What you'll be doing-

✔️ Accompanying children during school transport journeys
✔️ Helping passengers safely on and off the vehicle
✔️ Ensuring passengers are comfortable and settled
✔️ Providing a calm, friendly and reassuring presence
✔️ Supporting passengers who may need additional assistance
✔️ Communicating with parents, schools and our drivers
✔️ Following our safeguarding and safety procedures
✔️ Reporting any concerns appropriately

⭐ We're looking for someone who is:

✔️ Caring, patient and friendly
✔️ Reliable and punctual
✔️ Responsible and safety-conscious
✔️ Comfortable working with children and young people
✔️ A good communicator
✔️ Calm and professional
✔️ Committed to providing excellent passenger care

Previous experience working with children, schools or passenger transport is desirable but not essential.

🔐 Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one).
