⏰ How many times have you told yourself you’ll start networking when business quietens down?

Great to see two of our valued Atrium Networking Group members, Enerco and ICY Solutions, working together and supporting each other’s businesses.

This is exactly what business networking should be about. Building trusted relationships, sharing opportunities and supporting fellow local businesses.

It’s fantastic to see those relationships continuing beyond our Friday morning meetings

We also had the pleasure of catching up with Iwan from ICY Solutions, another local business we regularly work alongside on various projects.

Supporting local businesses is something we feel strongly about at Enerco. We have some excellent tradespeople and contractors right here on our doorstep, and wherever possible, we believe in keeping work local and supporting the businesses around us.

It’s not just about passing work to one another. It’s about building good working relationships, knowing who you can rely on and helping local businesses grow together.

We’re proud of the relationships we’ve built with other local companies, and we’d encourage more businesses to look closer to home when choosing contractors and suppliers.

There’s a lot of talent and experience in our area, and the more we support each other, the better it is for our local business community.

Today we are shining a spotlight on Business Telco and our fellow Atrium member Sarah Mia Hall, who helps businesses manage their mobile contracts, reduce unnecessary costs and get the support they need when something goes wrong.

Many businesses stay with the same mobile provider for years without checking whether they’re still getting a good deal. With contracts, tariffs and business needs changing over time, it’s worth reviewing what you’re paying for and whether it still suits your business.

Sarah works with businesses to review their existing mobile arrangements, identify potential savings and recommend suitable packages, whether that’s a single business mobile or multiple connections across a team.

One of the biggest benefits of working with Business Telco is having someone you can contact directly who knows your business, rather than spending time on hold or being passed between departments when you need help.

A big well done to our Atrium member Sarah Mia Hall and Business Telco for their generous donation of sleeping bags to The Forge Project.

With winter approaching, donations like this are desperately needed to help those facing homelessness in our local community.

It’s great to see our members supporting such an important local charity, and we’re incredibly proud to have Sarah and Business Telco as part of Atrium.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Sarah Mia Hall from Business Telco, who is also a member of the Atrium Network Scunthorpe, for purchasing and personally delivering some much-needed sleeping bags to The Forge Project.

With winter approaching and temperatures starting to drop, sleeping bags are one of the things we desperately need. For someone sleeping rough, having a warm sleeping bag can make a real difference, particularly during the colder months ahead.

Unfortunately, the demand for sleeping bags is ongoing, and we’re struggling to keep up with the number of people who need them.

If you’re a local business or individual who could help us by donating a sleeping bag, we’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation means we can help another person facing the prospect of sleeping outside in the cold.

Today we are shining a spotlight on LoveMaths Tutoring, who provide personalised tuition in Maths, English and Science for students from KS2 through to GCSE and A-Level.

Not every child finds school easy, and sometimes a little extra help outside the classroom can make a big difference. Whether they’re struggling to understand a particular subject, losing confidence or preparing for their GCSEs or A-Levels, LoveMaths provides tuition suited to their individual needs.

For parents, it can be difficult knowing how best to help when their child is struggling with schoolwork, particularly as they get older and the subjects become more challenging.

Could you help shape the future of The Forge Project?

The Forge are looking for new Trustees to join their Board and help them continue supporting people experiencing homelessness and hardship across North Lincolnshire.

Over the past year, they’ve welcomed 18,858 visits, supported 648 individuals and served 11,339 meals. Their services make a real difference to people who need somewhere to turn for help and support.

As a Trustee, you’ll help guide the charity, contribute to important decisions and support its long-term future.

They’re particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in business, finance, fundraising, HR, housing, health, marketing, community services and other professional backgrounds.

You don’t need previous Trustee experience, and training and support will be provided. We’re looking for people who can bring their knowledge, experience and commitment to our Board.

The role involves approximately six hours per month, including monthly Board meetings.

Based in Scunthorpe, the team supplies and installs uPVC double glazed windows and doors, conservatories and orangeries for homeowners and businesses across the local area.
