Atrium Networking supporting The Forge Project

As part of the community side of Atrium Networking, we are supporting The Forge Project in Scunthorpe and the work they do for people experiencing homelessness across our area.

Last week, Atrium provided The Forge with much-needed toiletries, which we handed over to Sam and will be put to good use over the coming weeks.

On Friday, Suzanne, Sarah and Jamie spent the morning at The Forge. Jamie is now volunteering there every Friday morning and will be speaking with the management team each week to understand what they need and where Atrium and our members can help. Sarah is also getting involved, while Suzanne has already identified ways she can use her own skills to support them.

We want this to be much more than handing something over, taking a picture and then not being seen again. By Jamie being there every week, we get to see for ourselves the work that goes on at The Forge, talk to the people involved and understand where help is actually needed.

That also means when we ask our Atrium members or other local businesses for support, we’re asking for things The Forge genuinely needs rather than simply guessing.

Over the coming months we’ll keep everyone updated on what we’re doing, what our members have helped with and other ways we can support The Forge.

Atrium isn’t just a Friday morning networking group. Yes, we’re there to help local businesses build relationships, make introductions and generate business, but the community side matters to us too.

If we can bring those businesses together and use what we have within the group to help places like The Forge, that’s exactly what we want to do.

Today we are shining a spotlight on Eyewatch Fire & Security, who provide security services to businesses, commercial premises and sites across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.

Every business reaches a point where good design stops being a luxury and starts becoming part of how people judge your brand.

That’s why we’re delighted to welcome Carrie Baldwinson from CB Design to Atrium Network.

Carrie is a freelance graphic and UX/UI designer. It’s a skill that’s valuable across almost every industry, and one we know will benefit both our members and the businesses they work with.

As with every new member, our role is simple. We get to know Carrie’s business, understand where she adds the most value and look for opportunities to introduce her to the right people. That’s what Atrium has always been about: genuine relationships that lead to trusted referrals.
