We have recently updated our fleet of tankers with the addition of a new D-Tec vacuum tanker all the way from the Netherlands. This tanker increases our Shetland based capacity and also continues our fleet renewal program.

We're delighted to announce that our Integrated Management System has received a certificate of approval from LRQA against Version 5 of the Energy & Utility Skills Competence Management System (CMS) standard.

The CMS standard is a management system-based standard which is accredited by UKAS and approved by Scottish Government and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA). The CMS Standard is based on other recognised management system standards such as ISO 9001 and 14001 but additionally provides requirements for the development and demonstration of competence of the business as a whole.

• “The Competence Management System is a holistic approach for demonstrating technical competence and recognises a company’s investment in skills and training across the whole business, rather than in one individual. It provides as an optimal way to ensure that competence is embedded in an organisation and is continually reviewed.
• It is flexible and can be tailored to suit the requirements of any organisation, regardless of size or permitted activities and is proving to be a cost-effective approach that creates competence awareness across the organisation, improving standards and efficiency”.

We wish all our customers, suppliers and partners a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.

Our Vatster site will be closing up 1300 on Friday 22nd December and reopening at 0800 on Monday 8th January.

During this time our normal on-call service will be maintained for any emergency requirements.
