Fylde Officers have just been to an incident on the Freckleton Marsh Land where a male has lost his balance and become stuck in the mud.

With the assistance of Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, the Coast Guard and NWAS, the male has been rescued from the mud and is being checked over by paramedics.

We were successful in locating the male due to the use of the 'What 3 Words' app.
This app is easy to use and should you become lost or need emergency assistance, the app will provide you with 3 different words for your exact location which you can then provide to emergency services.

Should we not have received the 3 words from the app, we wouldn't have been able to get to the male as quickly as we did and therefore want to ask everyone to consider getting this app.

A video recorded by shop tennant Tracy Ingham of Rustic Living, on the crescent in St Annes has given local residents a nasty taste in their mouths.

Ingham who has contacts with local charities such as Homestart and admins a number of social media pages including Lytham St Annes News and Lytham Community; instead of shutting her door that had been trading all day came across an elderly man who had stumbled over her galvanised items on the forecourt and began to film him.

The man clearly of a bad mental state was verbally abused by herself and partner, (John), who runs Pre Loved and then posted as admin to the page she admins with a reach of over a million.

'I will be your worst nightmare, said her partner and she went on to tell the man to go and have another drink in a horrible condescending way.

Lytham St Annes Residents are shocked at the womans actions and the post on her thread include vile, disgusting and should be banned from trading and should not be even open.

¶There are fewer rough sleepers about Blackpool we have sufficient donations in to cover us for the time being.

These donations we do not understand where they are for?

The organisation covers St Annes and is based in St Annes at a private company.

¶Thank you all for your continued support. The foodbank is receiving requests daily and if you want to donate then Hadfields in St Anne’s are kindly acting as our drop off point.

Hadfields is a fishmonger the association is unknown.
