LSBU: London South Bank University is hosting the book launch of Mad Matters: A Critical Reader in Canadian Mad Studies, bringing together the book’s editors, Dr Idil Abdillahi and Dr B. A. LeFrançois, alongside Dr Stan Papoulias from LSBU’s Lived Experiences of Distress Research Group.

Ten years after its first publication, this expanded edition explores the evolving field of Mad Studies and raises urgent questions about mental health, racism, colonialism, disability, trans liberation and collective care.

'Teach your trade' - a fully funded Net Zero Futures Bootcamp - will help you explore opportunities to teach construction and green skills to sixth formers and adults.

Over six weeks, you’ll develop your understanding of sustainability, energy use in buildings, solar energy, green energy storage, heat pumps and net zero building systems. You’ll also discover how your industry knowledge could be brought into a Further Education teaching environment.
