Business Owners Open Mastermind The Business Owners’ Open Mastermind Group is a monthly networking event that brings business owners together to help solve their current challenges.

Mastermind sessions are a tried and tested process of helping you work through a challenge and providing you with solutions, so how do we do it.

1. Everyone in the room will introduce themselves, who they are and what they do
2. We will then take on a challenge that someone in the room is facing in their business. They will have an opportunity to describe the challenge to offer you context for t

he solutions you might offer or suggest.
3. Then everyone in the room has a chance to ask a clarifying question, it's rare that we get enough from that initial explainer to be able to offer solutions so we enquire more, questions like "what have you tried so far".
4. When we are clear on the challenge, everyone in turn takes that challenge, as if it were their own and makes a suggestion on something that would do to solve it.
5. The business owner with the challenge makes notes and at the end of the session let's everyone know what they are planning to do, a kind of action for accountability.
6. We also revisit challenges from previous sessions to see how someone has got on and understand the impact that has been made. We usually get through 2 or 3 challenges per session and you can send your challenge to me ahead of time by emailing me at [email protected].

BOOM St Ives is meeting for the first session of the Year - have you booked your place? We have a couple of places left if you were still thinking about it.

It happens from 9.15am at the The Norris Museum for two hours and the next one is Thursday 15th January.

For new comers the first session is just £15.

You will experience a very friendly and supportive group of business owners from the area who are offering their perspectives to your challenges and working together to consider the different solutions that might help you move forward.
