Hi! I am Hannah at (she/her) a q***r Videographer from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

I’ve been filming wedding videos for a couple of years now, but since popping the question to my fiancee in 2021, I’ve really seen first-hand the need for LGBTQ+ friendly wedding services.

We’ve been finding parts of the industry that don’t feel inclusive - from wedding planners made for a bride and a groom; to online suit guides written “for the man in your life.”

When you’re planning your wedding though, you don’t want to spend your time and energy fighting assumptions - you just want everyone involved in your wedding day to be open and inclusive.

When I’m not filming videos, I’m:
a) out skateboarding
b) trying to persuade my fourteen year old Shih Tzu to get on a skateboard
c) planning my own wedding for this summer!

I’m-person Q***r Speed Dating is finally here!

Starting in London at , join us for a relaxed and welcoming speed dating for LGBTQIA+ women, trans and non-binary people.

We will pair you up with approximately 15 fantastic dates. You’ll have a few minutes with each pairing to spark up a good conversation.

We’ll also help kickstart the event with some friendly ice breakers. Your host will be Sappho Events founder, Maryann Wright.

You'll then be matched with those who both expressed interest (in friendship and/or dating) so you can keep the conversation going without us.

Afterwards, The Common Counter at Glass House will be open to keep the conversations going!

Sappho’s speed dating is perfect if this is your first time ever trying speed dating because we foster a relaxed, welcoming environment, and it’s an enjoyable way to meet new single people even if you’ve been speed dating before.
