We would just like to thank everyone who came along today for our first of many meetings. It was an absolute pleasure to connect with both familiar faces and some incredible new local businesses.

We're thrilled to announce that we're officially back 'active' and feeling very optimistic about what lies ahead. For those who couldn't make it to the meeting, don't fret - we're making it a priority to reach out and connect with as many of you as possible over the next few weeks.

We recognise that there have been many changes since the lockdown, and we appreciate your patience and unwavering support as we work to regain momentum. We're excited to continue working together towards our shared goals and can't wait to see what the future holds.

Thank you again for being a part of our community. We look forward to seeing you all soon.

We are so much more than just role play so remember to bring a towel and a change of clothes to get the most out of all our outdoor activities.

Shikkari Karate Kai offer martial arts classes to young people, adults and families from Oxhill Youth Club. We spoke to Brett Wilkinson about the club.

Their classes are..

Monday - 6-7pm.

Wednesday - 5.15-6.15pm- competition class, 6.30-7.30pm main class

Thursday - 6-7pm Karate kids class 5yrs+

Saturday- SKK Tiger cubs (3-6yrs) - 9-10am and 10-11am

Sunday - 4-5pm.

South Stanley Partnership is a registered charity that was founded in 2001 by local people seeking to provide community support and services for the people of South Stanley. To help to foster a sense of community and to provide a place for community groups to gather. We found out more about the group.

Nature's Edge C.I.C have a passion for the natural world with a particular focus on rewilding. Their aim is to support the restoration of the local eco-system through the promotion of indigenous habitats and wild grazing of their animals. We found out more about the social enterprise.

South Moor Juniors A.F.C is the oldest football club in the area. It has a large group of players including seniors, boys and girls teams. We visited the club to find out about their history and the role it plays in the community.
