Pink Spaghetti PA Services Stevenage Virtual assistant support for small business owners across Stevenage and beyond. Friendly, flexible help that feels like a 25th hour in your day 💕

I love research, admin and getting things sorted so you can focus on what matters. Hi, I’m Emma, the owner of Pink Spaghetti Stevenage, a virtual assistant (VA) and PA supporting small business owners across Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth, Baldock, Stotfold, Knebworth, Welwyn Garden City, Royston and the surrounding Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire areas. I help you get on top of your inbox, diary,

admin and systems so you have more time, calm and breathing space in your week. Think of me as your 25th hour in the day, and your extra pair of hands when things feel busy or stuck. I provide flexible personal assistant and virtual assistant help including:

Inbox and email management
Diary and calendar support
Social media scheduling and admin
Business research and sourcing
Invoicing and expense tracking
Systems setup and organisation

Plus all the little jobs that pile up when you are juggling work and life. If you are stuck, behind, or feel like admin is creeping into your evenings and weekends, this is where I can help. I genuinely love the research, admin and organisation side of business, so you do not have to. After years working in HR change and project roles in London and global financial services, I now use those skills to help local businesses feel more organised and in control. This includes streamlining admin, improving systems, keeping on top of emails and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. My aim is always to complement, not complicate your life. I am a mum to two lovely children, a wife, a coffee lover, a Peloton fan, originally from Australia and now happy to call Bedfordshire home. If you are looking for friendly, practical and flexible PA and virtual assistant support, you are in the right place. Let’s get it sorted.

A lovely bit of news to share 💗

I’m really pleased to have been named Pink Spaghetti Franchisee of the Month for June.

When I launched Pink Spaghetti Stevenage in October last year, I knew I wanted to build my business in a way that felt steady, professional and sustainable.

There is so much that goes into building a small business behind the scenes. The conversations, the networking, the follow-ups, the admin, the learning, the planning, and the quiet decision to keep going even when things feel uncertain.

So this recognition from the Pink Spaghetti team really does mean a lot.

It also feels like a real achievement because the Pink Spaghetti network is made up of more than 50 franchisees, all of whom are brilliant at what they do. It is a fantastic family to be part of, and I’m very grateful for the support, encouragement and shared experience across the network.

A huge thank you to the wider Pink Spaghetti network, and to the clients, local businesses, networking connections, friends and family who have supported me since I launched. Your support has made such a difference, and I really couldn’t have done it without you.

I’m proud of what I’m building, and very grateful for the people who have helped me along the way.

They say it takes a village to raise a family.

Honestly, I think it takes a village to grow a business too.

Not just employees, contractors or people you pay.

I mean the friend who gives you a boost on the day you’re having a wobble.

The networking contact who makes the introduction you didn’t know you needed.

The mentor who helps you think more clearly.

The fellow business owner who understands the juggle because they’re in it too.

The person who takes one thing off your plate so you can breathe again.

Running a small business can look independent from the outside, but very few of us are really doing it alone.

And I’m not sure we’re meant to.

Who’s in your business village?

Seven months ago, I launched my business. A few weeks ago, I shared what it had taught me so far.

I had the opportunity to do my 10-minute member showcase at Women In Business Network - WIBN Beds and Herts (Letchworth & Baldock), sharing my journey from Tasmania, to corporate HR and change roles, to motherhood, to launching Pink Spaghetti Stevenage.

One thing I’ve learned?

Running a business involves doing a lot of things before you feel completely ready.

Speaking for 10 minutes in front of a room full of people was definitely one of those moments.

(For the record, I arrived with an HDMI cable, multiple backups, printed handouts, and enough contingency planning to survive most tech failures 😄)

But beyond the speaking itself, it reminded me how often capable business owners quietly keep carrying too much.

From the outside, everything looks fine.

Behind the scenes, there’s often a growing list of admin, follow-ups, inboxes, systems, research, and all the other important-but-not-urgent jobs that keep getting pushed down the list.

That’s exactly why I do what I do.

I help small business owners free up time and headspace with flexible business support, the kind that helps things actually get done.

Looking back at this photo, I’m proud of how far I’ve come in seven months, and excited to see where the next seven take me.

Anyone else accidentally become a collector of pens? 🖊️

Between my husband picking them up at training courses and conferences, and me collecting them at networking meetings and events, we’ve ended up with quite the eclectic mix.

Different colours 🌈
Different logos
Different shapes
Some brilliant
Some questionable 😂

But there’s always one I reach for first.

The one that feels right.
The one that works properly.
The one I know I can rely on.

Business tools and systems are a bit like that too.

You can have the CRM, the spreadsheet, the inbox folders, the notes app, the project board and the tracker.

All useful in theory.

But having lots of tools doesn’t automatically make things feel organised.

Sometimes it just gives you more places to look.

The best system is usually the one you’ll actually use, the one that makes your business feel easier to manage.

And possibly the one with the best pen beside it.

Anyone else have a favourite pen, or is that just me? 👀

Anyone else? 😅

That point where your brain has too many tabs open and the only sensible option is to get some fresh air for 20 minutes.

Running a business can be a lot sometimes.

Emails, admin, follow-ups, remembering all the things…

The to-do list will still be there when I get back 😄

Wishing everyone a lovely bank holiday weekend if you’re switching off for a bit ☀️

Sometimes networking turns into something really lovely 💗

I first met Heather from Alert Wellness at Business Buzz Hitchin last year.

I was brand new to networking, finding my feet, and she was one of those lovely people who immediately welcomed me into the conversation.

That kindness sticks.

Fast forward to this morning, another Business Buzz, coffee, a proper catch-up… and now I’m really excited to be supporting Heather behind the scenes in Alert Wellness.

I’ll be helping free up more of her time so she can focus on her clients and growing her health and wellness coaching business.

This is why I love networking.

Not the awkward pitching.
Not the forced sales chats.

Just genuine conversations, kind people, and relationships that grow over time.

Looking forward to working with you, Heather 💗

When was the last time you got out of your comfort zone?

Mine was today.

I’ve just finished my 10-minute showcase at WIBN Letchworth and, if I’m honest, I’d built it up in my head far more than I needed to.

Naturally, I turned up very prepared 😆

HDMI cable ✔️
PowerPoint saved to desktop ✔️
Copies emailed to myself ✔️
Printed handouts just in case ✔️

(Of course the tech worked perfectly.)

Standing up for 10 minutes and telling your story feels very different to a quick networking intro.

Today was a chance to share my journey, from Tasmania to launching Pink Spaghetti Stevenage, what the last seven months of building this business have looked like, and where I hope to take it next.

And actually?

It wasn’t nearly as scary as I thought it would be.

Running a business seems to involve quite a lot of that.

Doing the thing you’ve been overthinking.
Putting yourself out there.
Saying yes before you feel completely ready.

Today, I did the thing 😊

You didn’t start your business to spend your evenings buried in emails 🙈

But between inboxes, follow ups, diary juggling and all the admin jobs that never quite get finished… it adds up fast.

That’s where I come in.

I’m Emma from Pink Spaghetti Stevenage, your 25th hour in the day, helping small business owners get the behind-the-scenes stuff sorted without needing to hire.

If admin is starting to take over, message me and we’ll talk it through 💗

Still formatting documents at 10pm?

You know the ones.
The proposal that needs tidying.
The report that doesn’t quite look right.
The document you keep opening… and then closing again.

It’s not difficult work, it just takes time.
And it’s usually the kind of task that gets pushed down the list.

But it all adds up.

Fonts that don’t match
Spacing that won’t behave
Layouts that need fixing

Before you know it, you’ve lost an evening to something that should have taken minutes.

That’s where I come in.

I’ll sort your documents so you can get back to what matters, whether that’s running your business, focusing on clients, or just switching off at the end of the day.

I offer flexible, pick-up and put-down support for small business owners who don’t have time to do it all.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed with admin and not sure where to start, you can message me and we’ll talk it through.
