If you don’t already know I own and run SNS HEATING LTD I’m a very reliable gas certified plumber and have been for a long time now .

I wanted to share a message I’ve received this morning as it made me a feeling along satisfaction, I fix plumbing issues and boilers day in day out with out a second thought like ground hog day . So to wake up to a customers message if thanks and gratitude it was refreshing .

This customer was from lound :

Be sure to have your gas fires and boilers serviced I’ve found this fire today very dangerous the lady had been complaining of head aches - I’ve removed it now and capped - not only had carbon monoxide leak but also found a gas leak ! Very lucky lady . (The soot is a tell tell sign )

I have noticed over the years and recently people simply paying for fast track courses and getting their gas tickets . Please be aware especially if they’re charges are cheap . My self and many other engineers in Retford have trained for many years on the job training under various engineer before we was allowed anywhere near our gas qualifications, mistakes and hundreds and hundreds of jobs is how we learn to be safe and so very experienced . Over night gas safe plumbers actually going into peoples houses scares me !

Often you will find cheap quotes/ prices please be aware you really do get what you pay for .

Good morning! We specialise in boiler replacement and installation

We have had lots of phone calls regarding boilers not working.either gurgling noise or ignition lockout.
This is most likely due to their condensate pipe from the boiler being frozen - this is the white or black plastic pipe that’s comes out at the bottom of your boiler.
If you boil the kettle and carefully pour the hot water over the pipe this should defrost any blockage and get you up running.

Please repost this, as it may help old people or people with young children in this very very cold weather.
