Your ad might be finished, but that does not always mean it is ready for TV.

Before a TV advert goes live on major UK commercial broadcasters, it usually needs to go through Clearcast for clearance. Clearcast reviews ads against broadcast advertising rules, while Ofcom acts as the UK communications regulator.

So yes, the edit, voiceover, script and final delivery all matter before anyone presses “go live”.

Save this as a reminder to start the clearance process earlier than you think.

A noisy room can turn one simple sentence into hard work.

British Sign Language (BSL) and American Sign Language (ASL) are different versions of the same language.

They each have their own grammar, vocabulary, and fingerspelling systems. In fact, someone fluent in ASL won't automatically understand BSL, and vice versa.

In Behind Blind Loyalty, blind broadcaster, speaker, and accessibility advocate Fern Lulham shares how small, thoughtful accessibility choices can help customers feel comfortable and why that matters more than discounts or reward points.
