Full Licence
Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph (Class 2)
Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
Good communication and customer service skills
Must live within our operating area of Membury (Max 15 mile radius).

Desirable:
Recovery experience (training provided if not)
Mechanical knowledge or experience in vehicle maintenance (commercial vehicles advantageous but not necessary)

The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position involving roadside recovery, vehicle transport, and accident response. You’ll work closely with customers, emergency services, and partner organisations, often in high-pressure environments.
Full training is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and carry out safe roadside recovery and transportation of light vehicles
Undertake recovery operations, including complex incidents
Operate specialist equipment and systems
Deliver a professional service in time-sensitive and customer-facing situations

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone reliable, proactive, and calm under pressure. You should be comfortable working independently, making decisions in real-time, and representing the business professionally.
If you meet the core requirements but don’t yet have full recovery experience, we’ll provide structured training and support to help you develop.

Another day, another successful handover from our showroom in Droitwich.

Today sees M4 Rescue & Recovery Ltd collect their latest addition to support the fleet operating in Wiltshire and the surrounding counties. From a small operation started in 2022 by Neal, his 20+ years of experience and supportive family by his side. The company has grown from strength to strength in recent years and is now a staple name in the recovery industry.

The MAN 15.250 chassis which was ordered just a few short weeks ago, came from our wide range of used vehicle sales and has already been through a complete re-paint process and re-conditioning of recovery equipment. This now leaves Droitwich for a second lease of life with our incredibly low HR50000SLa steel slidebed and 2,000kg second car lift, unrecognisable from a previous life once lived.

We can't wait to see how this one looks once the team get it finished with M4 livery and finishing touches.

We have a vacancy as a Recovery Vehicle Technician. Immediate start available. You should have previous Mechanical experience and/or have min Level 3 mechanical qualification. You will be servicing our fleet of vehicles and be on the road recovering vehicles when required, therefore you should hold a licence not less than 3.5t and preferably a clean licence. Training will be given for Recovery tasks. The position is Mon -Fri.
