I came across this campaign this morning run by Charlie Nettle.

As a marketeer of 10+ years working in various industries this campaign completely resonates with me. Many times in my career I've thought marketing was misunderstood, or misrepresented by organisations and even, at times, thought about leaving my profession, not due to lack of my own abilities, but more the challenges I've faced at times being undervalued or misunderstood by others. Marketing is a profession that has grown and evolved at an incredible rate in recent years, especially with the growth of the digital sector.

I'm extremely fortunate this year, especially in this climate, to be working for an amazing company, Vianet Group plc, as well as working for myself at the Little Brand Consultancy with some amazing clients that really see the value in marketing and what I do.

Not only that, they are learning the benefits of what marketing can offer them, how it can evolve a business and create growth and opportunity as a result.

*THINK INSIDE THE BOX*

This year's been far from ideal for us all and it's really made me think alot. As someone who's incredibly driven, creative and above all independent, it's crushing to be living in a world full of restrictions.

But today I realised it's not the be all and end all, and dispite restrictions, so many of us have achieved so much this year. From personal goals, new ventures and new experiences, all be it maybe a little closer (or more inside) home than we'd like!

It definitely changes the meaning of think outside the box. For this year, so many of us have done great things inside the box we've been given... Haven't we? ☺️💡

Perhaps it's made us all more creative than ever 🤷🏼‍♀️
