We’re running a CPR & Defibrillator Awareness Day in Hatfield Peverel to raise money for the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity - HRCC 💙

There are 4 sessions available throughout the day:
🕘 9:00am
🕚 10:45am
🕐 12:45pm
🕝 2:30pm

Each session is 1.5 hours and costs £25, with every penny going to charity.

You’ll learn:
✔️ How to check if someone is not breathing
✔️ How to perform CPR
✔️ How to use a defibrillator (AED)

It’s relaxed, practical and suitable for anyone, no experience needed. You’ll leave feeling more confident and with a certificate too.

🩸 What is an Emergency Bleed Control Kit? 🩸

It is designed to help control catastrophic bleeding until the emergency services arrive. Severe bleeding can become life threatening in minutes, so having the right equipment and knowing what it’s for really matters.

On today’s Emergency First Aid Course, we talked about catastrophic bleeding and the equipment you’d typically find in a bleed control kit, including:
✔️ Trauma dressings
✔️ Haemostatic dressings
✔️ Tourniquets

One of our learners was particularly interested in this topic as he runs a shooting club and wants to be fully prepared should an accident ever occur. A great example of proactive, responsible safety planning 👏

You may find bleed control kits in places such as:
📍 Shooting and sports clubs
📍 Workplaces with higher risk activities
📍 Public venues, transport hubs and community spaces
📍 First aid rooms and alongside AEDs

We’ve officially hit our first birthday!

One whole year of delivering first aid training, health and safety courses and supporting local businesses with audits and practical advice. It’s been an incredible journey and I’m so grateful to every single person and business who has trusted me along the way.
