Charlton House forms part of the London Borough of Hounslow’s wider programme to reinvigorate and develop its existing council estates to provide 5,000 new affordable homes. The two new mixed-use residential buildings that form the proposals are placed within a high quality and diverse new piece of landscaped public realm. A large central courtyard offers different character areas, including a designated play area for younger children, and a unique ‘long table’ feature for social gatherings.
