ISO 9001 is built on several core quality principles. These include a strong focus on the customer, active commitment from leadership, a process-based approach to every task, and a dedication to continual improvement.

Our systems are independently audited against these principles, so we follow the same accountability procedure every time to collect, erase, refurbish and recycle your IT equipment.

Every data-bearing storage media device you retire is a potential data breach waiting to happen. Under UK GDPR, a single device disposed of incorrectly can expose customer records, financial data, trade secrets, etc and the fines, legal costs, and reputational fallout can follow a business for years.

Insufficient IT asset disposition is a direct threat to the trust your customers place in you.

Computer Recyclers UK exists to remove this risk. Every device we handle is securely wiped or destroyed to independently certified standards, with a full audit trail to evidence your compliance.

To save you simply taking our word for it, we are certified to highest industry standard ADISA Standard 8.0, the UKs only UKAS-accredited, ICO-approved GDPR certification scheme, with a 200+ assessment criteria, confirming Computer Recyclers UK can provide a UK GDPR compliant ITAD DIAL 2 level of service at DISTINCTION and meet the current recognised data sanitisation guidelines of NIST 800-88 and IEEE2883:2022, meaning the data regulatory themselves verifies our compliance through our ADISA certification.

Don't let your redundant I.T become tomorrow's headline. Get in touch with Computer Recyclers UK to dispose of your IT assets securely and sustainably:

At Computer Recyclers UK, being carbon offset-certified shows our measurable commitment to reducing our environmental impact.

Carbon offset certification means that our emissions are measured, and an equivalent amount of carbon credits is purchased and permanently retired on our behalf, funding projects elsewhere that reduce or remove CO2 from the atmosphere, such as renewable energy schemes or woodland creation. Because those credits are retired, they can never be resold or reused, and the whole process is independently verified

This certification means we're independently verified for the steps we take to counter the carbon footprint of our operations. During our last reporting period, that added up to 32.22 tonnes of CO2e Emissions offset.

Alongside our other certifications, this lets our clients know that when their IT equipment comes to us, it's handled responsibly at every stage, for data security and the environment.

In our latest reporting period, Computer Recyclers UK's refurbishing and reusing of IT equipment services prevented over 18,000 devices from becoming e-waste, resulting in 4,630.37 tonnes of CO2e emissions saved compared to manufacturing new equipment. Being carbon offset-certified is how we make sure the rest of our footprint is accounted for, too.

Every device we recycle has the potential for a second life. ♻️

The world generates 62 million tonnes of e-waste every year, and the UK alone contributes around 1.65 million tonnes.

At Computer Recyclers UK, we're doing our part to stop it by collecting IT equipment, securely destroying data in accordance to NIST800-88, , IEEE2883:2022 guidelines, HMG IA Standard No.5 and the advised shred size models identified in the NPSA standard, and re-using what we can to generate maximum revenue for our clients.

This means less e- waste, and more affordable tech reaching UK homes and communities through our Digital Inclusion Initiative, Get Online @ Home, from as little as £99.

What does "sustainable re-marketing" mean? 💻♻️

At Computer Recyclers UK, it's giving redundant IT a second chance.

Main Brand, Grade A & B Devices that pass through our detailed quality check, are channelled into our Get Online @ Home programme, professionally refurbished, for communities, schools, charities and families facing digital exclusion across the UK, with stock held back for our Get Online @ Home spares, repairs and warranty support.

Other, lower grade and/or networking devices needing some TLC before reaching their next user, gets sold via our established network of UK re-sellers, enabling us to achieve maximise re-use value, at minimum cost, meaning better rebates or more donations for our clients.

When redundant IT is inspected with such detail, channelled accordingly, it means less waste, a lower carbon footprint, and a measurable social impact. That's sustainable re-marketing. ♻️
