We love receiving messages like this from our customers.

Maurice has recently had a new Solar PV and battery storage system installed by our team, and it was lovely to receive this email following completion of the work.

From the installation itself through to the final handover paperwork, we work hard to make the whole process as straightforward as possible, so comments like these really do mean a lot to us.

A big thank you to Maurice for choosing AlphaOne Electrics, and well done to Dion and the team for another great installation.

Another Cornwall home now making better use of its own solar energy.

Last week, the AlphaOne team headed up to Birmingham NEC for two days at Solar & Storage Live.

We spent our time catching up with suppliers, meeting manufacturers and chatting with people from across the industry, including MCS and RECC. We learnt a lot, saw plenty of new kit and managed a bit of networking along the way.

The best part was coming home with our EUPD Research Awarded Installer 2026 UK certification. We’re a small team from Cornwall, so it was a proud moment to receive that recognition.

A brilliant couple of days, although I think we were all quite pleased to sit down on the journey home!

Another Cornish home making more use of the sunshine!

We’ve recently completed this solar and battery installation in St Austell, bringing together:

• 16 DMEGC 460 W all-black solar panels
• A SolaX 10 kW three-phase hybrid inverter
• 10.2 kWh of SolaX battery storage
• A SolaX three-phase backup box
• A Solar iBoost to help heat the hot water using surplus solar electricity

The panels generate electricity during daylight, the batteries store energy for later, and the iBoost puts spare solar power towards hot water. A practical combination to help the household buy less electricity from the grid.

At AlphaOne Electrics, we’re a family-run, veteran-founded business based in Stithians and working across Cornwall. We take care of the design, installation and paperwork, with local support and a five-year workmanship warranty.

Thinking about solar panels or battery storage for your home? Send us a message for a free initial consultation. We’ll talk through what would suit your property and how you use electricity.

Energy bills are back in the headlines, and understandably, people are concerned.

Martin Lewis has highlighted how rising wholesale gas prices can put pressure on household energy bills, including electricity. Further increases are being forecast, although those predictions can change.

For homeowners here in Cornwall, this raises a practical question: could changing how you generate, store and use energy help reduce your bills?

• Solar PV

• Battery storage

• Air source heat pumps

These are worthwhile options to explore, but the figures need to make sense for your household. Installation costs, likely savings and how you use energy all matter.

At AlphaOne Electrics, we start with your home, your bills and your budget. We explain the options, provide clear pricing and realistic estimates, and help you understand how to get the most from your system.

We’re a family-run business, founded by RAF veterans and serving Cornwall. We’re MCS certified for solar PV and heat pumps, with qualified electricians and ongoing local support after installation.

If you’ve been considering solar, battery storage or a heat pump, message us to arrange a free initial consultation. We’ll help you work out what could suit your home.

Last week we completed another quality renewable energy installation.

This property has now been equipped with a high-performance renewable energy system designed to maximise energy independence, reduce electricity costs and provide reliable backup power.

The installation includes:

16 × AIKO Neostar 530W all-black bifacial solar panels (8.48 kWp)

Sigenergy SigenStor 8 kW hybrid inverter with 8.76 kWh battery storage

Sigenergy HomePro Backup Gateway, allowing the property to continue operating during a power cut

Hypervolt Home Pro 3 smart EV charger

Every installation is individually designed to suit the property and the customer’s energy requirements, ensuring the system delivers the best possible performance both now and in the future.

From the initial survey and system design through to installation, commissioning, MCS certification and DNO approval, everything is completed by our experienced in-house team, giving our customers confidence that their investment is installed safely, professionally and to the highest standard.

If you’re considering solar PV, battery storage, EV charging or a complete home energy solution, we’d be happy to discuss the options available and design a system tailored specifically to your home.
