We are very lucky in Tunbridge Wells to be surrounded by vineyards which are home to some of the best expressions of English wine in the country and there would be nothing better than sipping on some new discoveries on a warm summer day. With that in mind, we have a pair of Day Tickets to .lane first Wine Fair on Saturday 15th June.

Water Lane is a beautifully restored walled garden with a vinery, Victorian glasshouses, restaurant and shop on the Kent and Sussex border. A strong contender for one of our favourite days out in Kent, it’s the perfect place to sit back with a glass of English rosé.

Kicking off the beginning of English Wine Week, The Wine Fair has been curated in collaboration with wine writer@abbiemoulton and celebrates the best of local winemaking from family-run, independent wineries, exploring low intervention, organic and sustainable winemaking. Alongside the wine makers pouring and speaking about their wines there will be a programme of events: learn to taste like a pro at an expert-led tutorial, find out about the future of English wine at the panel talk or listen to award-winning sommelier@honeyspencer_ talk about her new book Natural Wine, No Drama.
