Ford Aerospace Limited

It is a pleasure to welcome new apprentices Izzy, Ben and Callum to the Ford Aerospace Limited team. All three have gotten off to a great start and we are looking forward to meeting the new cohort of South Tyneside College students who have just started their own journeys with the Ford Aerospace Apprenticeship Academy programme.

🚀 Three students. Three apprenticeships. One incredible opportunity.

Congratulations to Izzy, Ben and Callum, who have secured engineering apprenticeships with Ford Aerospace Limited after completing our Pre-Apprenticeship Academy programme.

Their success demonstrates how classroom learning, practical workshop experience and employer partnerships can open doors to exciting careers.

We're proud to have supported them on their journey and wish them every success as they begin their apprenticeships.

As the sun blazed down last weekend football teams across the land battled it out to secure their final league positions. It also included the return match of Hitachi Construction Machinery UK v Ford Aerospace Ltd.

This is the second time the teams have met, and what a match it was with both teams giving it their all Harton and Westoe Miners Welfare to help raise funds for Poppy’s Light Foundation and Dogs Trust

The final score Ford Aerospace 2 – Hitachi Construction Machinery 1

Thanks to all all the players and everyone who came along to play and support these two fantastic charities.

Come along and support us this Friday from 1pm at Harton and Westoe Miners Welfare where we will once again be taking on Hitachi Construction Machinery UK in our Annual Charity Football Match ⚽️

Our lads and lasses have volunteered their time (energy, legs, dignity and everything in between!) to take part and raise vital funds for our chosen charity - Poppy’s Light Foundation ❤️

We kindly ask for a spectator donation of £2, or anything you may be able to spare. Every penny raised will be split equally between our chosen charity and HCMUK's chosen charity - Dogs Trust 🐶

Two local manufacturing companies, Two fantastic charities, One winner 🏆

Best of luck to everyone taking part, let's make this one to remember! 🙌🏻

We were saddened to learn that Epinay School had recently been the target of vandalism resulting in their garden equipment and outside area being destroyed.

Naturally, our team wanted to find ways they could help and support the school.

The first thing we did was contact the school and go along to visit, and while you can see the damage caused, it is still an amazing place. Our Operations Manager even managed to have a kick about and enjoyed trying out their hair and beauty facilities!

Over the upcoming weeks, team members from across our business will be on site to help rebuild and remake some of the garden furniture and outdoor storage areas, including a new shed!

Our Maintenance Apprentices will lead the project, with additional team members volunteering and working alongside Epinay School's Sixth Form students.

We're immensely proud to be sponsoring and supporting this project, and honoured that we will be working alongside a fantastic local school and their students.

We would encourage any local businesses to get involved where they can and help to give Epinay School and their students a garden and facilities to shout about!
