A recent RICS Level 2 survey completed revealed the property was previously fire damaged. Further investigations revealed this occurred back in 2009 where the fire commenced in the adjoining property - surprised to see the firebreak wall still has gaping holes in it despite the event and attempts to repair. Fire break walls restrict fire spreading between properties. If you are having your property re-roofed make sure any such walls are fire stopped up to the underside of the underlay/roof covering and that gap above the underlay between battens is also fire stopped along with any shared boxed eaves etc. If it's a shared gap, fire will find a way to get through.

Great to see the new swimming pool project at Gwersyll yr Urdd Llangrannog progressing. Next stages will be the steel frame & roof cladding before the excavators can come back in and dig a very big hole. Jamsons Estates Ltd doing a great job. On this project, SPA are acting as the initial concept designer / Employer's Agent / Contract Administrator on this D & B build.

Yn falch iawn o fod wedi cynorthwyo Gwersyll yr Urdd Llangrannog i gyrraedd y cam hwn. Yn edrych ymlaen at y gwaith caled pellach o gwblhau'r pwll newydd yn 2026.

Very happy to have assisted Gwersyll yr Urdd Llangrannog in getting to this stage. Looking forward to the more hard work getting the new pool completed in 2026.
