Job Title: Support Worker

About Us; Sistacare is a compassionate, person-centred service that supports adults to live independently and well in their homes.

The Role As a Support Worker; you’ll provide practical and emotional support tailored to each person’s goals and preferences. No two days are the same—you might be helping with daily living, getting to appointments, or encouraging community activities.

Key Responsibilities;
Provide person-centred support with daily living (meal prep, personal care, medication prompts).
Support individuals to access the community, appointments, education, or employment.
Promote independence, choice, and wellbeing.
Keep accurate, confidential records and follow support plans.
Communicate clearly with individuals, families, and professionals.
Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and equality standards.

About You; The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Organised, punctual, and comfortable following procedures.
Experience in care or support is welcome but not essential—we provide training.
Right to work and satisfactory background checks are essential.
Willingness to work shifts, including some evenings/weekends.
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

Flexible shifts and regular hours.
Ongoing professional development and qualifications.

As a Support Worker, you will have the unique opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. You'll be supporting the elderly community helping them achieve their goals, improve their confidence, and live as independently as possible.
Whether it’s providing general support at home, assisting with daily tasks, or offering emotional support, every day will bring new challenges and rewards.
You’ll be working closely with a supportive team to ensure that every person you assist feels empowered, valued, and included.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and social activities
Encourage and promote independence, choice, and dignity for those you support
