🏢 Etruria Mills, Stoke-on-Trent | Curtain Walling & Glazing Adaptations 🔧
Our RJN Glazing team recently completed a series of bespoke curtain walling and glazing adaptations at Etruria Mills in Stoke-on-Trent, working for Inco Contracts.
The project involved carefully modifying the existing curtain walling to accommodate a number of changes across the building.
One element involved the removal of a central section of existing curtain walling to create an opening for a new fire exit doorway. This included the manufacture and installation of bespoke pressings and flashing, together with the necessary remodelling of the surrounding curtain walling. 🚪🔥
As part of the same project, we also supplied and installed a four-pane fixed screen into a new opening, providing a clean and practical glazed solution.
Another section of the works involved removing an existing bifold door from a curtain walling screen, before adapting, adjusting and relocating one bay of the screen to allow for the installation of a new main entrance doorway.
This enabled Inco Contracts to successfully transform one large existing unit into two separate units, making effective use of the existing curtain walling system while adapting it to meet the new requirements. 👷♂️
All works were surveyed, supplied and installed by the RJN Glazing team, with each element carefully considered to ensure the existing systems could be successfully adapted and integrated.
📸 The images show the before, during and completed stages of one element of the project, along with the additional glazing and curtain walling works carried out as part of the same project.
A great example of the type of bespoke commercial glazing and curtain walling alterations our team can deliver.
