🏠 Joint tenants or tenants in common, what’s the difference?

If you own your home as joint tenants, your share normally passes automatically to the surviving owner when you die.

If you own as tenants in common, you each own a defined share. That share can be left under your Will to the people you choose.

Neither option is automatically right for everyone. The best arrangement depends on your family, finances and wishes for the future.

Happy Monday everyone!

Some of the team headed over to Belfast this weekend for an early surprise birthday trip for Ellie, and what a brilliant trip it was. Being the organiser in chief that she is, it’s not very easy keeping surprises from her … but somehow we managed it 🤣

Non stop laughs from start to finish, good food and drinks and the titanic museum. Lots of memories made with the best bunch ❤️

And of course, giving the world what it wants (more Ellie Uttley’s 👀🤣)

An incredible evening being able to view the fantastic new Overgate hospice build. It truly is remarkable, which reflects the care and love that they provide.

As an independent charity, they support families all over the Calder Valley and make a profound difference to peoples lives. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to see their hard work pay off, and a big thank you to all our clients who supported Overgate with us in their Make A Will month!

They will always hold such a special place in my heart and I will always be thankful for everything they do.
