September has arrived! That’s a wrap on our Summer Heroes fundraising programme for 2026 ⛱️

Earlier this year, we welcomed young fundraisers from across the south coast of England to learn the ropes alongside experienced fundraisers and friends for the season. 🏝️

It’s been a summer of fundraising, learning and new friendships, and Zechariah shared what the experience meant to him:

“When doing a job like this, on a stand, approaching strangers and getting knocked back sometimes, who you’re working alongside really matters.

On quiet days, having someone next to you who you could actually laugh with. And on good days, when people were stopping and donating, it was just as fun to celebrate together."

A huge thank you to all our Summer Heroes for making this summer so special! 🌞 We'll be back in early 2027 for summer applications!

This week, some of our fundraisers working on campaign for Royal British Legion met a couple of lovely Admiral Nurses out in the field. ❤️

They were able to learn more about the work they do, share experiences and get a little closer to the people and stories behind the campaign, helping our fundraisers build meaningful relationships and take even more pride in the work they do. 👏

This past weekend we were at Comic Con supporting Cats Protection through important face-to-face conversations. 🐈‍⬛

Our wonderful fundraisers, Nish and Dal, connected with visitors to raise awareness of the vital work Cats Protection does to support cats in need, while sharing how people can get involved and make a difference.
