After multiple transits, the RAF Tutor Display Team have made it to Prestwick ready for the South Ayrshire Council Ayrshow - Festival of Flight!

Rich and guest commentator, Acting Pilot Officer Sam Milton from East Midlands Universities Air Squadron - EMUAS have flown f from Southend to a very wet and windy Prestwick via Cranwell and Teeside.

Luckily the weather is improving for Friday evening and Saturday so we will see you there and we can't wait to Display for you!

The RAF Tutor Display Team are looking forward to participating in The International Ayr Show - Festival of Flight tommorrow and Saturday.

We are also proud to support the RAF Benevolent Fund who are the South Ayrshire Council official charity partner for the fourth year running.

As such, we are hoping to Display UU both days to show our support!

Following a comprehensive technical investigation of the incident at RAF Cosford involving a Grob Tutor, flying operations have resumed.

As such, the RAF Tutor Display Team will continue with their previously published Display schedule.

If your at the Southport Air Show today then pop down to the RAF Tutor Display Team Tent in the Military Village to say hello. Both Ross and new team member Wade will be there to hand out some fantastic merchandise.

We will also be assisted by Manchester and Salford Universities Air Squadron and Liverpool University Air Squadron who can answer all questions relating to the Univerity Air Squadrons.

As a precaution, Tutor flying has been temporarily paused whilst technical investigations take place following an incident at RAF Cosford that did not involve the RAF Tutor Display Team.

We are very sorry that the RAF Tutor will not participate in planned flying display activity whilst the pause remains in place, but safety is paramount. We hope to be able to resume flying display activity soon.

We’ll be displaying on both Thursday and Friday and, as always, we’ll be on the ground aswell. Come and say hello and grab some free merchandise.

The RAF Tutor Display Team would like to thank all the Royal Air Force Air Cadets who attended today which was superbly organised by 2 Flying Training School and other Industry partners.

We know you will appreciate that we have strict weather limits for Display Flying and on this occation, for both your and Rich's safety, the Display ended slightly earlier than originally planned due to approaching Thunderstorms.

We as a Team were really looking forward to this one as its so inspiring to see the next generation so focused on Aviation and STEM.

As a (small) consolation, we hope you enjoy the internal footage?!?
