This year’s focus on climate change is a reminder that every action counts- and we’re committed to doing our part.

🚗 Over 65% of our current fleet is now fully electric, with an additional 25% being hybrid, which has had a significant impact on lowering our carbon footprint.
📄 100% digital operations- all processes, procedures and communications are fully digitalised, making us entirely paperless!
♻️ 100% of our uniform is now recycled or reused, with high quality items like suits donated via our charity partner to help the long term unemployed return to work, while the rest is transformed into boxing bags, cushions and other useful household items.
📉 We have achieved a 160kg reduction in waste over the past year.

We are proud to announce that Hazem Alaliaoui has been awarded the 2026 ACS Pacesetters Security Officer of Distinction Award, recognising outstanding professionalism and contribution to the security industry.

On 28 January 2026, while on duty at the Brunel Building in Paddington, Hazem showed exceptional professionalism and bravery during an incident involving an armed intruder attempting to steal a bicycle. Through effective CCTV monitoring, calm coordination, and clear communication with colleagues and police, he helped protect the public, prevent the suspect from entering a busy area, and assist in identifying the offender. His actions were formally commended by responding officers.

This award reflects the high standards and commitment to excellence that Hazem brings to his role every day. His achievement is also a proud reflection of Vigilant Security's dedication to delivering professional, proactive security services and keeping people safe.

We are honoured to see Hazem recognised in such a highly competitive field.

The UK terrorism threat level remains at substantial, meaning an attack is likely. Staying informed and prepared can help keep ourselves and our communities safe.

We are proud to announce that Hazem Alaliaoui has been named a Finalist for the 2026 ACS Pacesetters Security Officer of Distinction Awards.

On 28 January 2026, while on duty as Controller at the Brunel Building in Paddington, Hazem demonstrated exceptional professionalism, vigilance, and courage during a serious incident involving an intruder attempting to steal a bicycle. Despite facing a direct threat involving a knife, Hazem acted decisively to protect building occupants and the public.

Through calm coordination, effective use of CCTV, and clear communication with colleagues and emergency responders, Hazem helped ensure the suspect was prevented from entering a busy public area and later assisted in the identification of the offender.

His actions not only safeguarded those in the building but also contributed to a wider police investigation and were formally commended by responding officers.

The awards, presented by Michelle Russell, Chief Executive of the Security Industry Authority, recognise outstanding contribution and professionalism within the security industry.

We are honoured to see Hazem recognised among this year’s finalists in such a highly competitive field.
