Your IT provider should be able to prove its own security holds up, not just talk about yours.
That's why we put our own Information Security Management System in front of an independent auditor. Stage 1 of our ISO 27001 assessment is now passed: PQAL (Peers Quality Assurance Limited), UKAS accredited, went through our scope, risk assessments, policies and records. All checked out.
Stage 2 is the harder test, whether we're actually doing what the paperwork says day to day. That's booked in for September.
