Sister company to Impact Central, Chorus Network is delighted to announce the close of New Ground Coffee's £300k EIS capital raise. We are thrilled for Joel Grates and Dickon Morris, Founders with the inspiring vision of combining highest quality coffee with training and development opportunities for ex-offenders.

The guys are smashing it on both fronts, with New Ground nominated for Coffee Roaster of the Year at the 2022 London Coffee Festival and a team bursting full of stories of renewal and transformation.

The new capital will support New Ground's opening of a "best in Europe" Concept Cafe in Oxford City Centre. The huge annual footfall has the potential to drive significant new revenues in-store, but more fundamentally, it will grow brand awareness in support of wholesale products, the mainstay of the business.

World Mental Health Day is also a chance to talk about mental health in general, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to talk about things and get help if you are struggling.

Check out for resources. Talk to a friend / family member. Don’t allow stigma to prevent you from doing so.

One in FOUR of us will struggle with mental health at some point in our lifetime.

Running a business is not for the feint hearted. You need to prioritise your whole health. Look out for our blog that will drop later this week.

Not one but THREE of our alumni have been recognised in the Marie Claire Sustainability Awards.

🛋 First up we have WINNER of the award for Best Sustainable Home and Lifestyle Retailer. Ally Head (Marie Claire Editor for Health Sustainability and Relationships) applauded Akojo’s “Due-diligence processes before on-boarding brands - it is one of the standout facts for me”

👖 Next up we have who came Highly Commended in the “Best Sustainable Denim Brand” 2nd Place.

Fanfare were also featured in HELLO Magazine this week with their Cornflower Linene short set as ‘most perfect to wear in the sunshine’.

👙 Another huge congrats to who were Highly Commended in the ‘Best Sustainable Small Business - Underwear category at this year’s Marie Claire Sustainability awards.
