Everyone please read and sign this petition today, every moment counts, this is our one opportunity to get a vital drug called Enhertu on to the NHS that was rejected in 2024 because of its price tag, it could save thousands of lives just like mine for those with various cancers including my kind. The drug targets the cells on the surface of the cancer and actively destroys them. Sign today please!

Enhertu is a drug that could extend thousands of lives. But it was rejected for use on the NHS in 2024 for being too expensive. Since then, thousands of people have missed out on the drug. And many have died. Robbed of the extra time it could have given to them. We now have a chance to stop anybody....

I am pleased to say that chemotherapy, and two surgeries later, I have started hormone therapy and am about to have my radiotherapy.

My body has been responding, and that is very good news for me and the husband-to-be so we feel fortunate every day.

Thankyou for the emotional support from all you members since my diagnosis last May.

I can’t say it enough- everyone please do check your chest every week for any lumps or bumps that don’t feel familiar to you. Get to know what’s normal for you and what isn’t, and listen to your body. If you’re too busy to listen- slow down. You only get one life. Check, check, check again!

This is the final event of the season supporting women led local business and young entrepreneurs in Wells and the surrounding areas. Today at 12.30 at Blossom's of Wells 💜 it’s never too late to click the link and go pull up a chair…

This is also the last event of this year for our Women Of Business Network as although I have thoroughly enjoyed planning it as always, at times it has been challenging alongside chemotherapy.

I didn’t know if I could do it. But as always, women rallied. I have been truly blessed with the support and enthusiasm of Emma Russell and Amber Lloyd Coaching who I must thank for this going ahead.

As something I passionately believe in, I’m happy to see this network thriving in my absence.

Over the past year I’ve seen some attendees go from attending meetings out of curiosity with nothing but an idea, to actually beginning the set up of their own businesses, and using the meetings as a vital part of their information gathering and emotional support.

What started as a meet up in January 2025, with my intent to take one step ahead for the city of Wells in creating its first women-led business group, has blossomed in to something we can be all be very proud of. I remember that day because so many of you arrived to take part, they had to keep adding tables and chairs! It made me so proud of a city I love.
