A clean inverter and battery installation is every bit as important as the array on the roof. Positioning, cable management, protection, testing and commissioning all form part of delivering the job properly.

A tidy domestic solar installation from above.
Good solar design is not about squeezing the maximum number of panels onto every roof. We look at usable roof space, orientation, shading and expected electricity use before recommending a system.

Do solar panels work on cloudy days? Yes.
Solar PV uses daylight, not simply direct sunshine. Output naturally changes with the conditions, but a properly designed system continues generating throughout the year - including on those very British grey days.

⚡ We’re live! ⚡

We’re pleased to announce that we’ve now successfully commissioned the new commercial solar PV and battery storage system at The Elms Funeral Home.

With the system now generating clean renewable energy and the EPS backup supply fully operational, we’re entering the final stages of the project.

This installation features:
☀️ 32 high-performance solar panels
🔋 24kWh Fox ESS battery storage
⚡ Backup power capability to keep essential services running during a power outage

We can’t wait to showcase the finished installation, share the final results, and demonstrate just what this system is capable of.

A quick look at our ongoing solar installation at The Elms Funeral Home 🌞

The panels are now in place, marking a major step forward on this 32-panel commercial solar and battery project. There is still plenty to come, including the final electrical works, battery installation and commissioning of the completed system.

We are really pleased with how it is taking shape and cannot wait to share the finished result.

☀️ Project Update – The Elms

The solar array is now installed on our latest commercial project, comprising 32 solar panels, delivering 14.72kWp of generation capacity, paired with a 20kWh battery storage system.

It’s great to see the project taking shape. We’re still on site completing the installation, with commissioning and final testing still to come.

More updates to follow as we bring the system online.
