This Wednesday's is The Royal Hotel Weymouth 🏨
Right on the Esplanade, this Grade II listed seafront hotel has been welcoming guests since 1899 - built on the site of the original Royal Hotel, which George III himself patronised during his famous Weymouth visits.
Today it offers 71 rooms, a bar, restaurant, and full English breakfast, all steps from the beach. Whether you're planning a short break or just fancy a drink with a seafront view, it's worth a visit.

FREE- Exhibition 'Chromatic Collective', is the end-of-year show from students at Coastland College - Weymouth, and runs from Today - Tuesday, June 16 to Thursday, June 18, between 9am and 4pm, at the college’s Weymouth campus and features work from students across its full range of creative arts programmes.

Visitors can expect to see an inspiring and diverse collection of work spanning fine art, photography, sculpture, textiles and installation, reflecting the individuality, ambition and creative journeys of the students behind each piece.

‘Chromatic Collective’ not only celebrates student achievement but also marks an important milestone as many students prepare to progress into higher education, employment or the next stage of their creative development.

🎖️ Weymouth is getting ready for an unforgettable Armed Forces Weekend!

From Friday 19th – Monday 22nd June, the town will be buzzing with parades, vehicles, music, and commemorating our Armed Forces. 🇬🇧✨

⭐ What’s Happening This Weekend

Armour & Embarkation Convoy — Friday 19th June
Military vehicles return to the seafront with a convoy and prom display from 7pm–9pm.

Historic Military Vehicles & Live Entertainment — Saturday 20th June
Head to the Jubilee Clock for classic vehicles and performances from brilliant local acts.

Armed Forces Parade — Sunday 21st June
The official service and parade begin at 11am along the seafront, followed by marching bands and more historic vehicles by Weymouth Pavilion throughout the afternoon.

Flag Raising Ceremony — Monday 22nd June
The Armed Forces Flag will be raised outside The New Town Hall.
