Coming off a tough loss in the Premier Division the week before, we knew we had some work to do - and what a response the girls gave against Oulton Raidettes Girls yesterday.
The whole team worked incredibly hard in defence. At one point they showed just how fierce and quick they can be, keeping a strong and fast Oulton side pinned inside their own 20.
Our attack was much improved too. With players stepping into new positions and an early loss of our number 9, the girls really stepped up. The forwards ran hard, the backs picked the right running lines, and we seemed to come out on top in most of the arm wrestles across the field.

Very proud of the work ethic and attitude from the whole squad - but as always, there are still things to work on as we keep improving.
