Mark Everitt is partnering with a well-established precision CNC machining business serving aerospace and defence, now backed by a larger engineering group and entering a well-funded growth phase, to recruit a Production Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day production operations across a technically complex, high-mix low-volume environment, while playing an active role in shaping how the business scales over the next three to five years.

Leading a skilled team of machinists and CNC programmers, you will be responsible for driving OTIF, quality and efficiency targets, managing capacity and priorities across multiple machine platforms, and delivering real operational improvement on the shopfloor.

What a day. 🏌️

On 5th June, Prime hosted our 6th Annual Golf Day at Colchester Golf Club — and we are beyond proud to share that the day raised £21,823 for Alzheimer's Society

That figure has taken our all-time fundraising total past £305,000. A milestone we could never have reached without the incredible generosity of everyone who donated raffle prizes, purchased tickets, bid at auction, or simply came and supported the cause.

Alzheimer's is a cause deeply personal to many at Prime — and especially to our Founder & Managing Director, Robyn Holmes, who each year takes a moment to share her story and pay tribute to her dear co-founder Margaret Locke. Her words resonate with so many in the room, and serve as a reminder of why days like this matter so much.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join the team at Prime Appointments and take the lead on our established Office & Finance permanent desk.

This isn't a start-from-scratch role. You'll inherit an active client base, an established candidate network, and over 30 years of reputation across Essex and Suffolk — giving you the platform to hit the ground running and focus on what you do best.

What you'll be doing:

✅ Managing and growing an established permanent recruitment desk
✅ Building and developing client relationships across Essex & Suffolk
✅ Delivering consultative recruitment solutions across office and finance roles
✅ Driving new business while continuing to grow existing accounts
✅ Managing the full 360 recruitment lifecycle

What we're looking for:

🔹 Proven recruitment experience, ideally in permanent recruitment
🔹 A strong billing track record and business development skills
🔹 Someone self-motivated, ambitious and ready to take ownership

The package includes:
🔸 £34k–£36k basic salary
🔸 Uncapped monthly commission
🔸 Flexible working hours
🔸 22 days holiday rising to 27 with service

Technical Quality Engineer | Fully Remote | Up to £50,000

Julia Sherlock is recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a well-established and growing aerospace manufacturing group, offering a central quality function role with real international impact.

This is a strategic, high-visibility position where you'll act as the go-to technical quality expert, supporting multiple sites across the globe. You'll drive best practice, support audits and approvals, and influence quality performance across the business — with some international travel along the way.

The business is looking for someone with strong knowledge of APQP, AS9100 or ISO9001, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T. Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, or DMAIC will also be a real advantage.
Aerospace or manufacturing background and experience with APQP or AS9100 desired.
