It’s Dementia Action Week, and we’re proud to highlight the steps our team is taking to strengthen the support we offer to people living with dementia.

We are the first care agency in Wolverhampton who have taken part in a specialist dementia training session, delivered by Dr Karan Jutlla, covering two key areas:

- advanced dementia understanding and communication

- specialist South Asian dementia awareness, ensuring culturally sensitive care

We also attended an Involved dementia research session at Molineux, focused on improving how South Asian, Black African and African Caribbean communities are included in designing better dementia support.

At Enable Carers, we’re committed to learning, listening and delivering care that reflects each person’s identity, culture and lived experience.
