A SUMMER PROJECT THAT’S FINALLY COME TO LIFE! 🎵
I’ve been busy over the summer break from school designing and developing something I’ve wanted to create for a while — my very own A J Green Music Flash Cards! 🎸📚
I’m really pleased with how they’ve turned out, and I’m excited to finally be able to share them with you.
The pack contains 53 cards covering some of the essential building blocks of reading music:
🎼 Musical notes – improve your ability to recognise notes on the stave
🥁 Note values – learn to recognise different note lengths and rhythms
🎵 Music symbols – become familiar with important symbols used in written music
🧠 Quick-fire practice – build speed, confidence and recognition
The answers are on the back of every card, so you can test yourself and then turn the card over to see if you’re right. Or get a friend, parent, teacher or fellow musician to test you!
They’re also the same size as a standard pack of playing cards, making them really easy to carry around. Pop them in your pocket, guitar case or bag and you can practise wherever you are. 🎒🎸
Even just spending a few minutes a day with the cards can help reinforce what you’re learning and make recognising notes, note values and musical symbols much quicker and more natural.
