✨ Introducing NeuroCompass Circle ✨

A supportive, neuroaffirming space to connect with others, be your authentic self, and feel understood without pressure or expectations.

NeuroCompass Circle is a relaxed support group for neurodivergent adults focused on connection, community, and wider understanding. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, exploring your identity, or simply looking for a space where you can unmask and just be, you are welcome here.

Together, we can explore (if wanted) things like:
💬 Unmasking and self-understanding
🌿 Sensory needs and regulation
🧠 Organisation and executive function strategies
⚡ Managing overwhelm and burnout
🤝 Building confidence and connection
✨ Sharing experiences in a supportive environment

There is absolutely no pressure to talk, engage in supportive conversation, or share personal experiences, listening is participation too. Supportive discussions and strategy-based conversations will be available during the session for anyone who would find them helpful, engaging in these is always completely optional.

The group is designed to feel calm, welcoming and easy-going. You’re welcome to bring along anything that helps you feel comfortable, for example:
🎧 Headphones
🖍 A colouring book or sketchpad
🌀 Fidgets or sensory tools
☕ Your favourite drink cup to fill up with a lovely drink

The venue doesn’t have a car park but there is on street parking available locally, and we kindly ask attendees to purchase a drink/snack from the venue where possible to support the space hosting us.

RSD in women and girls......

RSD in women and girls......

For many autistic girls and women, the experience of rejection, or even the possibility of rejection, can feel overwhelming in a way that's hard to explain to others. A change in someone's tone. A message left on read. Feedback that was meant kindly but landed like a blow.
Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) isn't about being "too sensitive." It's connected to real experiences: years of emotional invalidation, the exhaustion of masking, heightened pattern recognition, and differences in how emotions are processed and felt in the body.
Our new blog looks at all of this, what RSD is, how it develops, and what neuroaffirmative support can look like.

If this resonates with you, or with someone you support, we hope it helps to have a name for it, and to know you're not alone.

Some days our brains are full of ideas, jobs, reminders and “I should really do that…” thoughts before we’ve even had breakfast – I know mine is!

I know that trying to do everything often leads to overwhelm, shutdown, or feeling like we’ve failed before the day has even started.

I’m actually using this approach myself today and thought I would share it because sometimes we all need a reminder that realistic planning is enough. 💙

This simple planning idea can help:
🧠 Start with a brain dump
⭐ Pick your realistic “Today’s Wants”
✨ Add a few “Today’s Mights” if energy allows
📝 Move everything else onto a “Wish List for Another Day”

Using post-it notes can also make tasks feel more manageable. Breaking things down into smaller steps helps move away from the overwhelming “big picture” and allows you to focus on completing one small task at a time. There is also something really satisfying about moving, removing, or reordering tasks as the day changes.

Not every task needs to happen today — and that’s okay.

A realistic plan is often far more supportive than an ambitious one. Small, achievable steps can build momentum, reduce pressure, and help protect energy levels throughout the day.

What’s one small thing you could focus on today?
