SEASONED HARDWOOD LOGS WITH GUARANTEED MOISTURE CONTENT UNDER 20%
Westfield Firewood supplies seasoned hardwood logs to York and the surrounding area. All of our timber is locally sourced and is mainly ash at the moment which is ideal for burning
and gives a nice flame and good heat output.
Logs can be supplied as loose loads or bulk bags.
The standard cut of each log is usually 8 inches however longer lengths can be cut by special request.
All log suppliers selling quantities under 2m3 are required to be registered under the Woodsure Ready to Burn Scheme and display the ready to burn certificate that guarantees a moisture content of under 20%
SEASONED LARCH SOFTWOOD
available from £115 for an approximate 1m3 loose load.
Larch known for being denser than many other softwoods and even some hardwoods does burn well and gives a good heat output.
LARCH IS NOT SUITABLE FOR OPEN FIRES.
