We need a cursory and an indept research study of the status of entrepreneurs our society to help form the bases and data centre to analyse the striving state of Entrepreneurs and our Entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Most especially, between 2010 - 2025, when the wave of entrepreneurship filled the air with its theories and academic credentials, conferences, funding programmes, various Governmental interventions, Individuals passionate pursuants in various great innovative and creative solutions to problems and a host of modules that tend to define Entrepreneurship.

This we need as a people to know the difficulties, challenges and successes within entrepreneurship and how these phenomenons could be well managed to salvage, improve, grow and sustain entrepreneurship in our ecosystem.

Questions to ask;

1. How many of entrepreneurs rose and are fallen within that period?
2. How many have survived within the same period of time?
3. What has been the challenges of the successful ones?
4. How did they surmount those challenges to strive.

These and many more are the questions we need to ask to guide us, as a people to be able to make any meaningful stride in developing and growing entrepreneurship in our society. And not just by promoting, funding and training programmes.

We loose sight of this, and we will always come back to start instead of growing and accelerating ( growth, progress and sustainability).

WHEN I HAD THE "APPETITE" TO JOIN THE ARMY.

This picture and pose reminds me some thirty five years ago when I had a strong passion to join the Army, applied for recruitment and was invited for a recruitment selection exercise for the Navy and that was when something strange happened. This was after my national service and during my internship with a company.

A life time decision was to be made between becoming a Soldier and becoming an Entrepreneur. The Entrepreneurial experience started during my internship exposed me to some realities in life and that gave me an idea of my other side.

I had to situate two things in this self discovery process.

Living under command and control - Military and secondly having the freedom to directly determine and influence my objectives and purpose in life - Entrepreneurship.

The second option however won - Entrepreneurship.

This is because, i later realised, I derive much joy strength in setting up my own objectives and see them materialise under my watch and control.

And today, I can testify to the Glory of God, he's held me up to the tasks assigned and I've well executed them through his intuitive power, guidance, grace and mercies.

I cannot thank him enough on this faithful remembrance day of his birth that represents new beginnings of which a whole new phase of my life has just began.

May your efforts defined through purpose be rewarded in 2026 and beyond and may any setback meant to unsettle you, be subdued in Jesus name.

And listen, you're blessed, just unravel it through hard-working, consistency - showing up, perseverance, resilience and purpose.

Before then, discover yourself first.

This is because, sometimes you might find yourself operating in the frequency mode of ignorance without realising it.

You might think you're operating on a standard mode frequency of wisdomic knowledge and being on top of affairs, meanwhile...

It is therefore necessary to find out which mode you're on, before the frequency of ignorance becomes your standard mode of operating to seeking success in life.

You can imagine the end results, your thoughts might be as good as mine.

As a natural principle, someone has to do what you're not doing as a result of diversity in talent sharing, grace and favour in order to also contribute to the value chain of human needs.

Therefore, stop playing down on your own talent, skills and abilities as though its not good enough, because you feel others are doing something you are not doing. That is their gifting and talent graced them by God and you cannot do anything about it, because you also have yours, why worry and might want to go into an unnecessary competition - That is unwarranted stress.

Instead appreciate yours by focusing in adding value to create a fulfilled business that meets standards and customers expectations and you're good to go.

Remember, you can only be you and not someone else. The tendency of wanting to be someone else is an enslavement in disguise and might elude you of self satisfaction and fulfilment in life.

Therefore appreciate yourself and fill fulfilled with whatever you have devoid of competition for a sustained peace in life.
