It was inspiring to see industry leaders unite at GHIPCON 2026 under the theme Building a Resilient Downstream: Policy, Innovation and Investment for Growth. Our participation reflects EY's commitment to advancing a sustainable and efficient downstream sector through innovation and strategic partnerships.

During the panel on Financing Downstream Infrastructure: Closing the Investment Gap, Julius Akpe, senior manager with our Strategy and Transactions (SaT) Service line emphasized that attracting investment requires more than mobilizing capital—it demands bankable project structures. By aligning assets with investor risk appetites and leveraging local-currency financing, Ghana can unlock greater participation and accelerate critical infrastructure development.

At EY, we are dedicated to helping you design investable solutions that turn bold ambitions into reality.

Connect with us today to learn how we can help you bridge the investment gap and build a resilient future together.
