The Energy Commission has been using an
analogue private automatic branch exchange
(PABX) phone system that uses traditional phones
covering the basic features of a small business
needs, such as transferring calls to a different
extension, redial and hold, This traditional phone
system does not leave much room for expansion
or alterations, since a location change involves
new wiring.. The Commission intends to deploy an
IP PBX phone system to deal with this current
demand in technological communication which
will allow for more flexibility in terms of
extensions and allocation and are also highly
compatible with VoIP lines that come with more
communication settings in their software.
