VCPPG MISSION STATEMENT

To provide consumers with certified quality processed long grain aromatic rice while improving the rice value chain industry through the support of out-grower capacity building in the Volta region of Ghana. To guide our out-growers to increase productivity through: (a) pre-financing linkages; (b) provide them with quality seeds; (c) training and technical assistance on rec

ord keeping, planting and chemical application; (d) and harvest and post-harvest management.

2. To retain and attract more women and the younger population to the rice value chain labor force with good-paying jobs, while reducing urbanization in Ghana. In addition we will continue to support events and programs as a sponsor to achieve this objective.

3. The VCPPG will provide machinery and storage services, modern milling technologies, and attractive packaging to add value to locally produced rice to increase our consumer market share.
