YPN Hosts "AVOIDING THE PRISON GATE AS A YOUTH" Event on 15-06-2025
The Youth Professionals Network (YPN) recently organized a thought-provoking event, "Avoiding the Prison Gate as a Youth," at Freeman Methodist "A" - Betom in the NJSM.
The gathering, held in the auditorium of Impact Word of Grace Church, brought together 60 enthusiastic youth from the area.
Key Stakeholders Present:
- Facilitators from the Ghana Prison Service shared valuable insights on the consequences of crime and the importance of making informed choices.
- A representative from the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) added depth to the discussion.
- The honorable member for the area lent their voice to the topic, emphasizing the importance of youth empowerment and guidance.
Outcome:
The event provided a platform for meaningful discussions, empowering the youth with knowledge and skills to make informed decisions and avoid the pitfalls that can lead to a life of crime. YPN's initiative demonstrates its commitment to nurturing responsible and law-abiding citizens.
