On Friday, 10th April, 2026, I, Ing. Professor Abena Agyeiwaa Obiri-Yeboah, together with Ing. Prof. Julius Aheikpor, had the privilege of leading our team under the Engineering for Girls (ENFOG) Project to engage with our beneficiaries at Kumasi Technical University in a warm and inspiring atmosphere filled with purpose.
The session created a valuable space for mentorship, interaction, and sharing a collective vision as these young women continue their journeys in STEM. Through the ENFOG Scholarship, we provide not only partial financial support but also guidance, empowerment, and the confidence needed to excel.
I encouraged the beneficiaries to remain committed to academic excellence, resilience, and innovation, and to make the most of every opportunity this programme offers. Team members also shared insights on career development, workplace readiness, and the importance of collaboration in engineering and related fields.
We were honoured by the presence of the Registrar of Kumasi Technical University, Ebenezer Kofi Boakye, who also inspired the students to stay focused on their academic goals.
It was truly encouraging to hear from the beneficiaries, who expressed their appreciation and shared how the ENFOG Project is shaping their aspirations and expanding their career horizons.
We remain committed to empowering more young women in STEM and nurturing a generation of professionals ready to make meaningful contributions to society.
This is in collaboration with the British Council and
