A noted Charismatic Church in Accra is looking for a skilled and passionate keyboardist to work as the Church's Keyboardist. Under the direction of the Senior Pastor and the Pastor in charge of the Music Ministry, the Church's Keyboardist is expected to do the following with respect to worship services:
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Provide quality musicianship for all Sunday services, special occasions and other special services as they occur.
2. Provide musical accompaniment for weekly rehearsals as needed. (mostly on Saturdays).
3. Coordinate rehearsals, performances, etc with the Director of Music.
4. Attend departmental meetings when scheduled.
5. Provide updates, and reports on the condition, sufficiency and maintenance of instruments as needed.
Job Requirements:
1. Be proficient as an accompanist on the keyboard.
2. An undergraduate degree in music or diploma in related fields is a plus.
3. Maintain familiarity with a wide scope of music styles appropriate with the Church's vision and mission.
4. Have good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Be highly collaborative and adaptable to change.
