AT FarmicleGrow, our work brings value to agro processors and businesses by offering quality and traceable sourcing solutions. Our work includes close collaboration and partnerships with actors in the industry. Beginning of the month, we participated in a Training of Trainers' Workshop in Tamale, which aimed at enhancing the skills and capacities of stakeholders in the maize, rice,
soybean, and vegetable value chains in Ghana. This initiative was facilitated by the Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation (TAAT) under the leadership of key agricultural research bodies, including the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research–Savanna Agricultural Research Institute
(CSIR–SARI), AfricaRice, IITA, World Vegetable Center (WorldVeg), and the African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF). The workshop focused on building and strengthening Innovation Platforms
(IPs) across Ghana’s agricultural landscape. It engaged over 120 stakeholders, including farmers, researchers, agricultural extension workers, government agencies, and private sector actors. The central theme of the workshop was to empower participants to create functional IPs, which are platforms designed to foster collaboration and drive innovations for improved productivity in the agricultural sector. I’m absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news! FarmicleGrow just won 🥇 first place in both the McGill Dobson Cup Award and the Mastercard Scholar Award for 2024!

This win wouldn't be possible without the incredible support of our amazing network. A huge thank you to the team at McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship, for the guidance and huge resources including mentors and coaches, a program powered by National Bank of Canada. Thank you also to the team at Mastercard Foundation at the McGill University. Thanks to all for believing in our vision and providing us with this remarkable opportunity. Your support truly means the world!

We're incredibly excited about the future of FarmicleGrow and the positive impact we can make. This win is a huge validation of all the hard work and dedication the team has poured in. We can't wait to share more details about our journey and what's next on the horizon!

I’m also grateful to the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business at the University of Waterloo for their continued support , feedback, coaching and arranging logistics to ensure I participated in person at McGill in Montreal. I’m more proud as one of the current full time student, and it’s experience is fueling my confidence and passion for entrepreneurship.
