I must admit that 2022 was a difficult year for family businesses. Economic plans and strategies by businesses were distorted with the effects of COVID-19 and the Russia-Ukraine war. Some businesses collapsed, some are struggling to survive and yet, some grew against all the odds. My advice to family businesses in 2023 is to Kickstart, Restart, and or Jumpstart.

Businesses have to KICKSTART by adopting new strategies for growth. Begin new things in the business because what you never begin, you can never develop.

RESTART old businesses or business ideas that have been neglected for some time. Consider revisiting the idea or strategy that you wrote down some years ago. This may be the time to modify plans for your business.

Lastly, JUMPSTART your energy or vibes by building new relationships. Iron sharpens iron so build proper networks. Be intentional about it and avoid relationships that will have no benefit for your personal development and the success of your business.

We're just in the second month of 2023. Remember to Kickstart! Restart! Jumpstart!
