The founder of Gaye Njorro farm products recently concluded three days Agro food processing workshop held at Gambia Songhai initiative (GSI), This program is funded by green Gambia, under the Erasmust + projects a consortium involving the ministry of youths and sports (MOYS) through Gambia Songhai initiative (GSI), Gambia college (CINOP) Netherlands and licem technologic hirlau (Romania) Together, they are piloting a short - term training on Eco tourism/ food processing and job readiness to enhance youths employability.

Total of twenty (20) students from both GSI/ UEG are currently participating in the training the program Will runfor (3) months including (3) weeks internship to potential ECO tourism and food processing stateholder.

Part of the training our focus are areas
•Traditional food processing technique in the Gambia
•Modern food processing technique in the Gambia

The target process products are
•Smooth fish
•Dried fish (salting)
•Mango juice
•Supper Cereal and pepper sauce.

Alhumdulillah the founder of Gaye Njorro farm products. concluded a 3 days Agro food processing training at kiang kwinella LRR.

The training was Organized by Gambia Songhai initiative in partnership with UNDP, Implement by JSB a project under UNDP.

as parts of the training our focus process area are

Tomato paste
Pepper sauce
Yogurt
Orange juice,syrup /jam
Pineapple juice,syrup/jam. Etc

Alhumdulillah x3 from the 10th /14th march the founder of Gaye Njorro farm products, concluded a ( 3) days Agro food processing/ (2) days compost making training, At TAD master farm training centre ,Tinkinjo village,Tumana District in URR.
The training was Organized by TAD in partnership with forest farm facility (FFF) under FAO projects.

Our focused processing area's were ,
Moringa powder
Pepper sacue
Supper Cereal
Groundnut cake
Tomato jam.
Moringa juice
Coconut flakes.

Alhumdulillah x3 from the 09 To 12 February 2026,the Gambia Songhai initiative training center, and Gambia college, organized a 4 days TOT training at bakadaji hotel together with green Gambia EU project.for organizing a such an important Training I was invited by the the Gambia Songhai initiative project coordinator Mr mbye saine.

our focus areas were entrepreneurship, Eco-tourism, food processing and job readiness.

Thanks you for creating a meaningful opportunities for connection, learning,an personal growth to the Gambia Songhai initiative students.The connection made will definitely go a long way towards the success of my business an a open doors to the GSI students.

Alhumdulillah x3 especial thanks to Mr mbye saine The Gambia Songhai initiative coordinator for giving me the opportunity to Represent on behalf of the Songhai Ex__ students. on a 3 days project validation at Gambia college.

The project aim to change the life of the youths,by training them some basic skills on food processing, preservation/ packaging to reach out the wider market in the global world.

The Gambia Songhai initiative,is a center at North Bank region,(NBR) They train's varieties of batches in general agriculture (Intergrade farming system ) currently we have over 300 graduate's across the country on both genders, with vast experience in Agriculture.
