Σε ένα διαρκώς μεταβαλλόμενο προβάλλον, όπου τα κριτήρια ESG προσανατολίζουν τις επιχειρήσεις προς ένα νέα βιώσιμο και ανθεκτικό μοντέλο επιχειρηματικής λειτουργίας, το πλαίσιο των προτύπων ISO αποκτά ακόμη μεγαλύτερη προστιθέμενη αξία για τις μεσαίες, μικρές και πολύ μικρές επιχειρήσεις που αποφασίζουν να αλλάξουν την επιχειρηματική τους κουλτούρα και να δομήσουν μια συγκροτημένη επιχειρηματική στρατηγική, ώστε να παραμείνουν επιλέξιμες σε μεγάλες και μεσαίες αλυσίδες αξίας.

Το πρότυπο ISO 9001 αποτελεί το βασικό πρότυπο μέσα από το οποίο οι οργανισμοί μπορούν να αρχίσουν να δομούν στέρεα αυτή την προσπάθειά τους για τη μετάβασή τους στη νέα εποχή. Το πρότυπο ISO 9001:2026 έρχεται αναβαθμισμένο και συμπληρωμένο με παραμέτρους βιωσιμότητας και ηγεσίας, υποστηρίζοντας τις επιχειρήσεις σε αυτές τις νέες απαιτήσεις.

ESG LAB Project - Final Meeting on 14 September 2026

What will ESG mean for SMEs in the next few years?

Our Final Meeting on 14 September will bring together the main results, tools and lessons of the project, from ESG learning resources and practical tools to the mentoring experience with SMEs.

A special part of the meeting will also be dedicated to invited speakers, who will share perspectives on the future of ESG, competitiveness, finance, supply chains and the evolving expectations for Blue Economy SMEs.

What does ESG look like in practice?

As part of the ESG LAB project, we have developed a new Best Practices Report featuring examples from Greece, Cyprus and Portugal that show how ESG principles can be translated into practical action across the Blue Economy.

The report highlights different approaches to sustainability, cooperation, innovation and responsible business practices, offering useful inspiration for SMEs that want to strengthen their own ESG journey.

There is no single way to implement ESG. What matters is identifying realistic actions that fit each business, sector and capacity.

From good practices to a credible ESG Report

On 30 July, the ESG LAB partners — SARONIS, ETHOS Lab, CIBIT and Dialogue Diversity — met online to review the progress of the project and coordinate the final implementation activities.

The discussion focused on dissemination, the ESG LAB learning materials and toolkit, the national Communities of Practice, upcoming webinars, the mentoring phase for SMEs and the preparation of the final reports. 📈

The partnership remains committed to supporting SMEs in adopting more sustainable, socially responsible and transparent practices. 💯
