Deloitte

Deloitte The official Fan page of Deloitte Greece We believe that we’re only as good as the good we do. For us, good isn’t good enough.

All the facts and figures that talk to our size and diversity and years of history, as notable and important as they may be, are secondary to the truest measure of Deloitte: the impact we make in the world. So, when people ask, “what’s different about Deloitte?” the answer resides in the many specific examples of where we have helped Deloitte member firm clients, our people, and sections of societ

y to achieve remarkable goals, solve complex problems or make meaningful progress. With over 150 years of hard work and commitment to making a real difference, our organization has grown in scale and diversity—more than 225,000 people in 150 countries, providing audit, tax, legal, financial advisory, enterprise risk, and consulting services—yet our shared culture remains the same. We aim to be the best at all that we do—to help clients realize their ambitions; to make a positive difference in society; and to maximize the success of our people. This drive fuels the commitment and humanity that run deep through our every action. That’s what makes us truly different at Deloitte. Not how big we are, where we are, nor what services we offer. What really defines us is our drive to make an impact that matters in the world.

It was an honor for the Deloitte Competence Center in Thessaloniki to host a bipartisan U.S. Congressional Delegation (CODEL), led by Representative Gus Bilirakis and comprising ten Members of the U.S. House of Representatives from multiple states.

This marked the first CODEL to visit Thessaloniki in nearly 20 years—and the largest congressional delegation the city has welcomed in recent memory.

Organized by the U.S. Consulate General in Thessaloniki and the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and hosted by Deloitte, the visit offered an opportunity to showcase the Deloitte Competence Center, established in Thessaloniki in late 2017, and its new home—a beautifully restored 100-year-old warehouse at the city's port.

Today, more than 1,400 professionals work from this state-of-the-art facility, delivering AI solutions and digital transformation projects for clients around the world.

Deloitte's investment has helped position Thessaloniki as a destination for talent and technology, encouraging other American and international companies to establish operations in the city and contributing to a thriving innovation ecosystem.

A memorable day that put the spotlight on Thessaloniki’s future. By focusing on expanded investment and deeper technological collaboration, this visit reinforced the city’s growing role as a premier hub for innovation, world-class talent, and international business.

AI alone won't transform your business. People will.

Deloitte's new 2026 Global Human Capital Trends survey reveals a striking gap: 85% of business leaders say adaptability is now essential to success, yet only 7% have taken real action to build it.

In his new interview with ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ, Υiorgos Fragkos, Partner and Human Capital Leader at Deloitte Greece, explains why the next chapter of work isn't about who adopts AI first, but who redesigns work around it.

From Generative AI to Agentic AI, the shift changes what we value most: judgment, accountability, and knowing when to trust the technology - and when not to.

The organizations that will lead aren't the ones buying the most advanced tools. They're the ones rethinking how value gets created when humans and AI work together with clear roles, a shared purpose, and a continuous drive to learn and grow.

Internal investigations don't fail in the courtroom. They fail in the first 24 hours.

At the 18th Panhellenic Conference of Lawyers, organized by Nomiki Bibliothiki, Yannis Dracoulis joined the panel discussion on Internal Investigations & Crisis Readiness, sharing practical insights on what organizations need to know before an investigation begins.

• Most evidence isn't lost through bad intent, it's lost through panic
• An IT admin cleaning up a server before Legal is notified lead to volatile data being lost
• Cross-border legal privilege is not transferable. What's protected in Greece may not hold in the US or the UK
• The report that withstands cross-examination is the one that separates fact from assumptions from day one

The bottom line? Organizations that handle crises effectively aren't those with the best lawyers.

They're the ones with the best playbook, built before the crisis, not during it.

How do regulation, compliance and consumer behavior shape investment decisions in online gaming?

At the 4th Greek Online Gaming Day by the Hellenic Gaming Association, Nikolaos Dimitrakopoulos joined the panel on Economic & Tax Considerations in the Online Betting Industry.

A key takeaway from the discussion was that tax is only one part of the equation. Long-term value creation and growth of the online gaming increasingly depends on how companies navigate and react to a broader set of strategic factors:
• Regulatory frameworks are shaping investment decisions, valuations and M&A activity.
• Tackling illegal betting is essential to market integrity and sustainable growth.
• AI is transforming operating models, risk management and the customer experience.

For financial advisors, online gaming shows how compliance and consumer preferences directly drive long-term value creation.

For a business, misinformation is not just a reputational risk. It represents a major operational threat that compromises corporate decision-making and undermines the business ecosystem.

At the , Nikos Christodoulou, Partner and Technology & Transformation Leader at Deloitte, addressed this challenge during the panel discussions on fake news, emphasizing how false data can damage even the strongest corporate strategies.
